The Wise Score
One number that says "this one beat the usual."
Wise Score (×) = the reel's views ÷ the creator's usual views. A 4.2× reel got more than four times what that creator normally gets.
Usual views = the median of their 30 most recent qualifying reels. Pinned reels and reels under 72 hours old are left out, so one lucky post can't skew it.
A Wise Score of 3× or more means the reel broke out. The virality score (0–100) blends reach, engagement and speed.

How credits work
Credits pay for new transcriptions; longer reels use more. Opening a transcript that already exists costs nothing, failed ones are refunded, and credits reset monthly without rolling over.

Is it free?
Yes. The Free plan gives you 3 profile scans a day, badges and the side panel on Instagram, and 10 transcription credits a month. Paid plans raise the limits. See pricing.
Does it work on mobile?
No. ViralWise is a Chrome extension for desktop computers. The web app (reports and collections) opens in any browser.
Is my Instagram account safe?
ViralWise works only on Reels tabs, reads only what Instagram already loaded at a human pace, stops if Instagram pushes back, and has a daily cap per Instagram account. Nothing is added to the page except small badges. Pacing and caps reduce risk but cannot remove it entirely.
Do you post anything or need my Instagram password?
No, never. You sign in to ViralWise with Google. We never post, like, follow or message anyone.
Which languages are supported for transcripts?
English and many Indian languages. English stays English, Hinglish stays in Roman letters, and Hindi is written in Devanagari with a switch to Roman. Hindi is never shown in Urdu script.
What is a credit?
Credits pay for new transcriptions. Longer reels use more credits. Opening a transcript that already exists is free, failed transcriptions are refunded, and credits reset every month (they don't roll over).
Can creators remove their profile?
Yes. Creators can ask us to hide or delete their profile on the Remove my profile page.
